This episode for me was just…I don’t have words. I read a lot of posts on Tumblr and while I don’t think I’m as bothered by this episode as a lot of you, I TOTALLY understand your issue with it.
Olitz
Liv and Fitz need to take relationship notes from James and Cyrus. I really thought it was over between them after James was left crying last week but I think they love each other more than any other “couple” on the show. James & Cy…talk sh-t to each other, push the line of trust to the limit, James damn near got wasted from a Charlie hit via Cy but at the end of the day, these two know how to let past sh-t go and keep it movin’.
Liv
Some one help me understand how Liv was willing to “wait 4 more years” but can’t deal with the Verna thing? I don’t actually know if that was the reason but if it was…what a lame excuse. I mean, really…5 min into this episode and she was talking about sidelinin’ her own ass for 4 more years but can’t get through this? At the end, she looked happy with her decision too…almost relieved. Did she just want him to use his “super powers” on her one more time before she cut him loose? I don’t get it! On top of that…you got outed anyway! Either, Cyrus drove his last nail and sold you out OR Mellie’s salty ass did it because Fitz read her and dangled the plan that will ultimately have America loving Liv in her face at the hospital OR the bitter Governor who didn’t end up getting the ticket deal OR your Daddy dearest did it. Doesn’t even matter. cuz girl, if you’re gonna loose make sure it’s for a reason! Your reputation is now muddy as hell and you got reporters at your door AND you didn’t end up with your man, crazy!
Fitz
While it’s nice that Fitz was going to “forgive her” about Jake, there was nothing for him to forgive. They weren’t together and he didn’t want anything to do with Liv at the time. And…Fitz…that last scene…really?? You told Liv that you were “divorcing Mellie whether she waits for you or not” because she put lil’ Teddy in danger trying to manipulate you. Well, what happened to that logic? I’m sorry but I don’t consider Fitz to be wrecked, he’s WEAK! Shit, Huck is the one “wrecked!” This fool just unfolded a repressed memory of his wife and child…HE’S wrecked, Fitz…WEAK! His head in Mellie’s lap discussed me. I feel suffocated by his relationship with Mellie. I would have more respect for his character if he went through with the divorce and stood on his own for once. But since you can’t seem to do that…Imma need you to get my boy Jake out that damned hole!
Huck
I just want to hold him. I think it’s time Liv helps him find his family or something.

I never had issue with him, maybe because I find Scott Foley attractive and have always liked him since Felicity. Whatever the case may be, I didn’t share the hate that a lotta folks have for him. Tonight, he was a better person than a whole lot of people. I’m mad he got thrown in the hole behind Liv’s wishy washy ass.
Shonda
Sorry but…you can’t mind fuck people and not expect them to “tweet you their crazy.” You have major publications shooting spreads of Olitz, that whole Valentine’s Day promo, I mean…you’re basically making Olitz the premise of the show and this is the season finale we get? I’d rather them be together and constantly be dodging danger of people trying to out them rather than this weak ass ending you gave us. The writing for me is all shock value now. It shows they don’t know where their going with this story but one things for sure, they want reactions. Makes no sense…
I think the writers need to be careful because there are a lot of new shows piloting over the summer. They could loose viewer ship if they’re going to continue down this path of back n’ forth.
