Wow, she clearly shows this is only about Kerry and Tony or is it Olivia and Fitz? She’s confused. Shonda handled it well.
I think you should take her advice. I personally think you’ve crossed the line between a passionate advocate and a psycho already but really, you are a bit much and your campaigns are useless and illogical. It’s almost as if you are doing this out of spite. It makes very little sense and the exaggerations you display are out of this world—-literally.
Olivia is not a victim of Domestic Violence. I really think you need to look up what that means and honestly assess whether or not Olivia falls into that category with Jake. One isolated situation does not count as domestic violence.
Why stick around? Why force yourself onto a show that has clearly statement it will do as it pleases? Protesting Scandal is like fighting air.
Again, I must inquire WHY these heifs are still watching the show???? I don’t care how much I like an actor, if I have to suffer through every episode and have my blood pressure all fucked up, I’m out! I’ll catch my favorite in his/ her next project. But we all know the majority of these dumb bitches just complain because “Joke” is fucking Olivia every chance she gets (she, because she keeps initiating it) and Fitz the coward is still married to a wife he doesn’t deserve. They can suck on that and Shonda’s big, fat writing pen until they choke on it. Or, you know, STOP WATCHING.
There is one reason they are watching the show: Tony Goldwyn
Exactly. We can all see right through this faux rage. Oscar worthy, all of them. There are only two people on tumblr who I genuinely believe are upset about senseless violence on the show in general…or simply angry that Olivia hasn’t been given a voice to confront her attackers…I get those concerns. Everyone else is full of it.
It’s an insult to people who are truly survivors of DV. And an insult today to connect Columbus Short’s wife and children to these television characters. Shonda said herself today and at other times, this is a show that depicts these things but makes no judgments about them. It is a world where a guy pulls a woman’s teeth out with pliers (and where was that outcry?) which indicates that it is a world of heightened reality. And she continues to say maybe the show isn’t for some people.
…and actually contribute to causes for victims. To those who’ve protested every violent act on the show, not just when it involved Jake and Olivia: I apologize for completely missing your exuberant campaigns against violence on the show every time Cyrus had someone killed or tried to off his…
